Legit Outdoors was founded in 2014 by Lea Leggitt. She wanted to share her passions and all of the fun adventures she embarks on through her eyes. She started out photographing her hunts in the mountains of Colorado. She captured many wildlife photos and mountain scenery. As she continued on her journey though life she fell back in love with sport of rodeo which she once participated in when she was a young girl. Now she is following the rodeos all across Montana, Colorado and New Mexico sharing her stories about her adventures, the people she meets and her many learning experiences.

Lea attended college at The University of Montana to pursue her passion through a degree in journalism until she got in a horse accident and injured her back making her return to her home state, and is now attending Fort Lewis College. She works with The Independent and is their Multimedia Editor. Along with this work she also works with Four Corners SCI as the Director of Media where she is covering their events as well as social media and newsletters. Lea also does a lot of freelance writing for a wide variety of magazines. Although she is ambitious in her work her passions grow stronger with everyday.

Legit Outdoors is always looking for new adventures and would like to work with you! Her specialty is rodeos and western lifestyle but is up for any new coverage.
